In China, Xiaomi also introduced the Redmi Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro true wireless earphones, as well as the Xiaomi Mi Band 7. Both of the new genuine wireless noise canceling headphones have huge 10 mm audio drivers and are reasonably priced.
Body
Apart from the in-ear design, the Redmi Buds 4 and 4 Pro feature a unique visual appearance. The former has a canal-style design, while the later has a stem-style design. Both, however, offer touch gestures for playing/paused music, activating voice assistants, and other functions. They also meet IP54 specifications for dust and water resistance.
Audio
Furthermore, while the Buds 4 and 4 Pro both use a 10mm dynamic audio driver, their essential functionality is different. The latter, in this case, offers up to 45dB of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and 360-degree surround sound capability. It also has Hi-Fi sound, allowing you to listen to your favorite tunes with minimal distortion.
The Buds 4, on the other hand, have 35dB of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Both earbuds have a dual-transparency mode that lets you listen to ambient sounds while listening to music.
According to Xiaomi, the Buds 4 Pro has a low latency of 59ms during gaming, but normal earbuds use a Bluetooth 5.2 connection, which helps to reduce gaming latency.
Battery
The Redmi Buds 4 can last up to 30 hours on a single charge with the charging case, while the Buds 4 Pro can last up to 36 hours. Once the charging case is unlocked, the earphones can be instantaneously connected to devices.
